iChurch Check-In System

The iChurch Check-in System (iCCiS) complements forms-based attendance recording and the miChurch portal. It enables your church to implement a secure pick-up system of your church's little ones or a no paper solution to attendance recording for any event.

iCCiS can be used with touch screens, barcode readers and/or finger print scanners. You can tailor your system to suit your church and change it at any time. You can even mix the different input devices across your church as you wish.

Finger print scanners offer the advantage of security and speed but may cause some people to feel uncomfortable recording their finger prints (even though their finger prints aren't actually recorded - just the interesting geometry). For these people, alternative methods of identification are available by using a barcode or their home telephone number.

Barcode scanners are just as fast as finger print scanners. Any barcoded card, such as a store loyalty card, can be assigned to an individual and used with iCCiS.

Apart from parents dropping off their own children, iChurch also enables others to be nominated to drop off & pick up their children.

To pick-up children, two systems are available. Either the same identification system that was used to drop the children off is used or the pick-up ticket created at drop-off is used. The choice is yours. The family identification number is printed on the pick-up ticket so messaging systems can use this number to call parents to the children's area without embarrassment.

Attendance reports include:
  • Simple meeting attendance report
  • Most frequent meeting attendance report
  • Attendance drop off report

iChurch's Manual Attendance System

iChurch also has a manual attendance system which uses printed attendance rolls. Once all of the attendances have been checked off, the reports are returned to the office to be scanned into iChurch using a barcode scanner.

This option is a great first start for smaller churches or for those locations where getting internet access is difficult. There is no problem moving between the manual and electronic attendance systems. In fact, both systems can be used at the same time.
